1. What is the maximum amount for outward or inward remittance?
The limit for each transaction amount will be based on type of customer, transaction purpose and specific supporting documents.
2. Is there any add-on benefits when using the overseas remittance service of the Bank?
The Bank's overseas remittance service has the following outstanding features:
- Phone notifications for each transaction of credit to or debit from the account
- Tracking the status of outward overseas transfers and receiving notifications when the funds are credited to the Beneficiary's account abroad
- Receiving notifications of inward overseas remittance before the Bank processes the credit to the account
3. How can I check the status of my outward overseas remittance?
Through the Shinhan SOL Vietnam (SOL application), you will receive notifications when your account is debited and when funds are credited to the beneficiary’s account abroad. In addition, during the transaction period, you can proactively check the transaction status on the SOL application or contact the Bank's hotline via phone number 19001577
4. How can I cancel a registered money transfer transaction on the SOL application?
You can contact the Bank's hotline via phone number 19001577 to check the current processing status of your transaction.
5. For outward remittance requests, after my account is debited, how long does it take for the Beneficiary account to receive the funds?
Crediting funds to the Beneficiary account will depend on the beneficiary bank's business hours, regulations and transaction processing speed. In addition, time zone differences and foreign exchange regulations of each country can also affect the crediting to the beneficiary account.
